Courtroom Time Machine Update — week of 10/29

Here’s the latest from Courtroom Time Machine:
1) On November 16th, students will be in pods of 4-5 students as they conduct a “scavenger hunt” connected to the Sand Creek Massacre in Denver.  I am still looking for one more driver, if you are able to join us let me know.
2) Similarly, if your student is NOT going to be here on Friday, November 16th (early departure for thanksgiving or whatnot), please let me know so I can plan accordingly.  Thank you so much!
3) Friendly reminder that POLs are the afternoon of December 4th and 5th.  We encourage you to join us.  I’ll try to have a specific schedule of presentations by mid November.
4) In class, we are conducting civil war lessons, working on our LTP video diaries, and continuing our work on Brown vs. Board of Education.  If time allows this week, we might also introduce the POLs (Presentation of Learning)
Have a fantastic week!  -JF
