About me

This is my 20th year as a middle school teacher and my sixth year here at the CHOICE Program.  I received my National Board Certification in December of 2009 and I earned my MA in education from Stanford University in 1997.  I was featured as a master teacher in That Workshop Book: New Systems and Structures for Classrooms That Read, Write, and Think (Bennett, 2007) and I’ve also presented at numerous national education conferences on curriculum and instruction.  I love backpacking, poker, and bad cooking shows.  I live near Table Mesa with my wife, two sons, and our friendly hypoallergenic dog, Zolo.

I should really update this picture as my kids are teenagers now, but we are bad at family photos — so I’m keeping this one live instead!  🙂

Quickest and best way to reach me is via email.  joshua.feiger@bvsd.org .  You can also contact me via my cell at (three-O-three) 641-7546.
